An MG TC from 1948 with Royal History!
The history of this car is remarkable in many ways. The car was purchased new by Kurt Haijby with the settlement, given to him by The Swedish Royal Family to keep his love affair with the Swedish King Gustav the V a secret. (You can Google it).
The car has been driven, serviced and raced extensively. Only 3 owners. The last owner had it for 65 years and maintained it like a professional mechanic during these years. He was one of the first members of the MG Club in Sweden and also served as the president of the club.
The car was driven in the summers of the 60’s and 70’ as the family drove more modern cars during the winter. This is an estate sale since the owner died last year at the age of 89. Everything on the car has been serviced or replaced on a regular basis and it still drives perfectly. There is no rust and only original parts have been used. It comes with many extra original spare parts, special tools, leather gloves/ hood etc. etc.
