A VERY SPECIAL BIKE:
1939 Rudge Special 500cc.
An excellent example as can be seen in the photos.
Condition: Very high specification and very sorted.
Gearbox rebuild with Ulster first gear.
Dynamo overhauled with electronic regulator.
New Clutch.
New paint and chrome to show standard.
Original overhauled carb.
Oil tap fitted / also with decal on handle bar to remind rider.
Original Dunlop trade rims back and front.
All electrics overhauled and working.
New cables.
Engine fully overhauled + Re-sleeved with rebore / new piston.
Bike needs just another 200 miles before it is fully run in.
The engine starts with the distinctive Rudge thumping roar with a very easy starting technique.
Decompressor fitted as standard
Fitted with anti sump key safety mechanism to prevent the bike from sumping engine oil when not in use.
Fitted with the very quirky Rudge easy to use center stand arm, even a kid could put this bike on the center
stand, UNBELIEVABLY EASY TO OPERATE: JUST AMAZING:
