1959 Austin Healey 100-6 3000 Overdrive central shift

Restored Austin-Healey 100/ 6 Overdrive with the 3000 Mk III engine and central shift gearbox with overdrive. Including recent maintenance history, the heritage certificate and various invoices. Delivered new in San Francisco and since 2019 in the Netherlands. The previous owner took the time to restore the Healey and the car is still in a fantastic solid condition. He had the car resprayed in the sporty duotone Austin-Healey color "Colorado red and Black" The Big Healey has just been professionally polished and the paint looks great with a deep shine.

During the restoration, various technical aspects were updated to improve the reliability such as a heavy duty radiator, disc brakes at the front and a new wiring harness with main power switch. The strong and smooth BJ8 engine and the central shift gearbox are high value updates and provides even more driving pleasure. Recently, a stainless steel exhaust has been fitted, and the black spoke rims with Vredestein Classic tyres provide a nice contrast.
