The car has had numerous upgrades transforming it into the wonderful little car it is today.
The engine is fabulous. It is an “A" series bored out to 1380cc, Omega forged pistons, Swiftune SW5 cam, proper 11 stud cooper S big valve cylinder head, 40 Weber carburettor with a manifow long centre branch manifold and maniflow system with jetex stainless steel silencer led across the back which looks much better, hiding the fuel tank.

It has a rebuilt rib case gearbox
All of the electrics have been renewed with an Autosparks bespoke made braided wiring loom, new old-style dynamo with original rev counter drive to allow for the correct original frogeye instruments.
The front suspension has the Peter May competition antiroll bar making the car very stable and surefooted. Standard back axle rebuilt with Peter May rose jointed panhard rod
The original type master cylinder was re-sleaved in stainless steel to allow for the change from drum brakes to disc brakes at the front. New complete floors including boot floor. New inner and outer sills.
The car sits on brand new 5. 5 x 14 minilite wheels
