Genuine all steel UK car with only four owners, and its original registration number.
Striped completely to a bare shell, any rust was cut out and new metal professionally let in. There are over 250 photos of the restoration and all parts were either new or fully reconditioned.
The upgraded 1098cc engine was stripped, rebored and fully rebuilt to a more powerful spec including an unleaded head. Three branch exhaust manifold and full exhaust system all new in stainless steel.
Electronic ignition. New wiring loom.
A later and stronger ribbed cased gearbox was sourced and totally rebuilt.
The original seats were retrimmed in Black leather.
New carpets and trim.
Chrome replated.
New hood and side screens.
Original wheels fully reconditioned with new Chrome hubcaps and recent Dunlop tyres
