1958 Vauxhall PA Cresta 3 Window Saloon. This is a RHD Import from South Africa which is now fully Uk registered. The car does start , run and drive but will need a bit work to get it fully roadworthy. Its a fairly solid old car and Im told quite rare being a 3 window model.
Body - 1958 Cresta saloon. Solid inner wings, underbonnet, sills, rear arches, main floors are good. Nearside front corner of floor and short chassis section have been repaired and are solid. Rest looks fairly original underneath. Paintwork is OK and is perfectly useable as it is. Few marks and minor dings on it. If you wanted a show car youd need to paint it.
Mechanics - The car starts runs and drives and we have had it round the industrial estate. Brakes and clutch work. Column shift feels ok. As with any old car this will need a good checkover before being used in anger. Looks to all be standard with its original engine.
interior - Seats look to have been retrimmed and theres no nasty rips or tears but wont be to everyones taste. Good door cards, dashboard and headlining.
Wheels - Aftermarket 17 inch rims which dont suit it to be fair.
