Now prepared and in the showroom RFH Classics have this 1967 (E) Jaguar MKII 3. 4 Saloon finished in Red with Cream Leather trim. The car came to us from long term previous ownership and was only sold because his wife could no longer drive the car. As you can see from the pictures, the car is in exceptionally good condition and has been very well cared for by the previous owner who owned the car for just over 10 years. Originally the car left the factory in Beige but was the subject of an extensive restoration around 2016/ 17 for which we have some of the invoices in the history file. In addition there is selection of photographs showing the work undertaken. We believe the car was retrimmed in the Cream Leather around the same period and they have made an exceptionally good job of the work including the wood veneers fitted to the Door Caps and Dash that are in good order. In history file we have a large number of old MOT tests that cover the period of 1987 to 2014.
Under the bonnet the 3. 4 petrol engine is runs well when it was recently part exchanged the previous owner drove the vehicle the 70 mile journey to collect his new car. We understand the engine remains largely standard spec although it does now benefit from an Electronic Choke and Security Immobiliser. We have driven the car around 30 miles now and the Overdrive is working well with the Oil Pressure being very stable both hot and cold. The car is not concours example but it is very nice and will be something a new owner will be happy to own and certainly get a lot of admiring glances from.
