A 1977 ‘14 window’ Vw Bay Transporter.
Running the original 1600cc single carb engine with 15, 586km on the clock. I am currently the 3rd owner and have owned it since March 2022. In my ownership I have traveled around ~100 miles.
It features a full width rock and roll bed, double gas burner, electric sink, auxiliary heater and double 240v socket. The vehicle runs 2 batteries (a standard car battery and a dedicated leisure battery). The steering wheel is a Genuine Momo Prototipo steering wheel with a quick detach boss kit. The vehicle has been re-trimmed by the previous owners in full leather white/ blue. Along with 1st and 2nd gears being shortened for a sharper pickup along with a full reconditioning of the gearbox.
The vehicle is very solid with no welding needed to the subframe or cracks in any of the original welds or jacking points. Underneath the cargo doors has been filled at some point by a previous owner but nothing other than that (The vehicle was inspect by JustVW in Rhos on 20/ 6/ 23 which was where I had the condition confirmed) The vehicle is mechanically perfect and very reliable, runs flawlessly and starts first time.

This is one of only 4, 300 original vehicles in this style being a mix of bay window and splitscreen parts being original from the factory so this really stands it out from all other bay windows. This along with being right hand drive and having done very little miles makes it a great camper for someone to own.
The vehicle was imported in 2017 by the previous owner from South Africa and saw very little usage until I purchased it only covering around 50miles in their ownership.
