Description
This 1979 Kawasaki KZ 650 B3 is in good condition for its 44 years. I imported it from the US and registered almost 2 years ago and have used it ever since for dry day commutes to work and weekend ride outs. I has had a full service with the Oil, oil filter , spark plugs break fluid , front pads and rear shoes all replaced. A new battery was fitted and a recent new front tyre. The original exhaust was in a bad condition so I have fitted an after market 4 into 1 stainless steel system. The chain and front & rear sprockets were also replaced. The bike is in the historic Tax range so zero cost and MOT exempt. The bike is dry stored and has a light restoration where needed but I have kept as much of it as original so there areas some which could still be improved if required by the new owner. The frame was repainted prior to me buying the bike. The tank and rear seat surround paint work is clean but could be better to make it look its best. The bike is currently insured and taxed and still in use so the mileage will go up until it is sold. I have the receipts for all of the new parts purchased and fitted by me. The mileage was 13000 on the speedo when I received the bike but I cannot confirm that in any way. Having ridden the bike for a couple of years now it has never let me down and it still pulls well and sounds good and the brakes are sound as well. People comment on it shiny appearance and good looks for it age. Others come and talk about there old memories of previous Kawasaki z650 that they owned and journey they made. It has been a pleasure to own and ride but time for the next project now.
