1977 GMC 2500 Sierra Pick up Truck in exceptional condition and a true head turner!
A very well-presented Pick Up truck with beautiful paintwork and no signs of rust to be found or signs of previous repairs to floors, chassis or body panels. Not heavily modified like most trucks of this era with a very tidy interior.
This truck drives exceptionally well and is a pleasure to drive.
The third-generation C/ K was introduced for the 1973 model year. Designated the "Rounded Line" generation by General Motors, the C/ K grew in size inside and out. As pickup trucks increased in use as personal vehicles, cab features and options moved closer in line with GM sedans (with power windows and power door locks becoming options).
While relatively straight-lined and boxy in appearance (leading to their "Square-body" nickname from the public the Rounded Line trucks were the first generation of the C/ K to be designed with the use of computers and wind tunnels, optimizing the exterior shape for lower drag and improved fuel economy. The chassis was an all-new design (with all trucks receiving a leaf-spring rear suspension); K-Series trucks moved to all-wheel drive

Suspension
• All leaf spring bushes replaced
• New axle U bolts
• Shackle bushes replaced
• Anti-roll bar removed and painted
• Anti-roll bar bushes replaced
• Front steering damper replaced
• All suspension components coated with rust convertor (slight surface rust treated)
• All suspension components protected with Lanoguard
Brakes
• Rear axle brake line replaced
• Rear brake drum seals replaced
• Full brake fluid flush
• Rear shoes adjusted
Electrical
• New rear light loom fitted (full length of truck)
• New front wiring loom fitted
• Front headlights replaced with Lucas P700 headlights
• Battery tray modified to take relay box
• Headlights and spotlight wiring uprated to relays instead of straight from switch
Fuel System
• Fuel tanks removed
• Small amount of sediment removed from tanks
• New breather hoses, fuel lines and filler neck hoses fittedChassis
• Chassis sealed with rust prevention/ conversion paint
• Chassis and entire underbody coated in Lanoguard
Running Gear
Gearbox and transfer box cleaned (externally)
Gearbox and transfer box oils replaced
Differential covers removed, differential gears cleaned and inspected
Front and rear differential gaskets replaced
Front and rear axle oils replaced
• Power steering pump rebuilt
• Power steering system flushed
• Carburettor rebuilt
Running Gear
Gearbox and transfer box cleaned (externally)
Gearbox and transfer box oils replaced
Differential covers removed, differential gears cleaned and inspected

Front and rear axle oils replaced
