1993 MG RV8

A limited production run of 1983 cars of which only 350 approximately were originally registered in the UK of which this is one , (NOT a reimport). Finished in the rare Metallic British racing green (one of only 139). The car has a fabulous history with letters from Rover to the first owner relating to the initial order of the car when first manufactured. Many brochures and sale literature also included in the file. The second owner had the car from 2015. When he passed away the car was registered to his wife who then sold the car so I am the third owner although the registration document shows three former keepers.
During my ownership the car has been fitted with a replacement radiator (jan 22) with new hoses, new bump stops, boot gas struts. The wheels where professionally refinished and fitted with new tyres (feb 22) and a full geometry check done at the same time. The buzz word with the RV8 is the Three W's, Wheels , Wood Windscreen Surround. The wheels have as mentioned been done. The windscreen surround is perfect , no signs of corrosion and the wood is all blemish free. All the interior trim is immaculate, the leather has no discoloration, even the gear knob is free of any signs of wear. I have had the underneath professionally cleaned and treated with fresh Dinitrol rust preventive coating. MOY til August 2024. Paintwork is stunning. Hood is also in excellent condition. Tool roll complete. There is the standard Hood cover plus the optional full length Tonneau cover. The tiny use is the only reason I am now considering its sale. I know this will not be the cheapest RV8 on the market, but there will be few in condition of this one. Current Mileage 38500 (Many of the Japanese reimports have had UK - Miles - speedometers fitted and do not have the original clock therefore cannot verify the mileage prior to a uk clock being fitted) The number plate comes with the car and is the number assigned when new - the suppliers name on plates too!
