EXTERIOR
The W212 E Class Estate has never looked better than in AMG form, with considered enhancements to the body aiding its aerodynamics. Tenorite Grey (755) is the perfect shade for this imposing estate looking both elegant and sporty with a sinister undertone to match the performance on offer.
The typically high quality Mercedes Benz paint on this example is in great condition, with few marks to report. All of the bright finish materials on the grill are also in excellent condition and there are no blemishes to the rear of the car from loading.
INTERIOR
The W212 interior is one of restrained class, robustly build and with excellent ergonomics. This example is finished in soft Nappa leather black (821) and as expected from a top of the range model, the interior wants for nothing. This example also has such options as rear seat entertainment, keeping all of the occupants happy and more importantly if young, quiet in the back.
The leather throughout the cabin presents beautifully with only slight creasing on the driver’s seat, winter floor mats are in place further protecting the carpets underneath and with the panoramic roof allowing light to flood into the interior, this E63 AMG S offers a luxurious atmosphere to travel in.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Hugely powerful in both acceleration and sound, AMG have created another masterpiece. The twin turbo 5. 5 litre V8 is torque rich yet enjoys revving too. In typical AMG fashion, it also sounds ballistic when on-song. The MCT transmission provides easy access to all of this power and the paddles behind the steering column allow further control for the driver.
The engine bay of this E63 S is in excellent condition, pointing to careful maintenance. As with every AMG, the engine is signed by its creator and the badge is present and correct.
Maintenance has been carried out solely by Mercedes-Benz Main dealers from new with the latest service carried out on 12/ 04/ 2023 at 54, 465 miles.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The mighty firepower of the E63 S AMG is sent through an equally impressive set of alloy wheels. Recently refurbished 10 spoke alloy wheels present in perfect condition, sporting Pirelli P-zero tyres at the front and Continental Contisport 5’s at the rear which all show plenty of tread remaining.
The wheel design offers a great view of the substantial braking system, with the red calipers and their black AMG labels on clear display. On test drive, they provide consistent and substantial braking power.
