This extremely pampered and much loved Westfield has been spared no expense and I personally have put over £20k in to it since taking it on as a refurbishment project over 9 years ago.
The Zetec engine was fully prepared for an Escort rally car but never made it in to that car and instead was installed in to this Westfield with very high specification components. I opted for a twin Webber carburator setup for the romance of it, the simplicity and the sound. The installation of the engine and all major refurbishments have been carried out by a mix of Northampton Motorsport and John's Motors (the owner of which is a coveted racer of Caterhams), it has also had a professional respray and been rolling road tuned. It comes with 4 x almost New Toyo Proxes R888 tyres, Team Dynamics alloy wheel, Sparco detachable Steering Wheel, Sparco seatbelts, original Westfield carpets, side screens, roof, drives beautifully and sounds incredible (like no other) thanks to a custom stainless steel exhaust made by the same company that made the exhaust for the the Q plate Aston Martin in James Bond Spectre, the same company also made my coolant tank and aluminium radiator. I don't want to let this car go, but I use it less than 300 miles each year and my financial circumstances have changed.
This car really turns heads and I am forever getting stopped or asked for photos when I actually get out in it. I love it as it is a one off and solid as a rock. There's nothing like driving this car on the open road.
