The SL320 was offered as a two-door roadster with an automatic (electro-hydraulic) fabric folding roof.
The models from 1994 to 1998 were equipped with a 3. 2L 24 valve inline engine with 231 hp. while the models from 1998 to 2001 had a 3. 2L 18 valve V6 engine of 224 hp.
