Description
This Wolseley was despatched from the factory on July 4th 1951 and delivered to Nuffield Exports Ltd. From here it was shipped to Kenya where it spent a couple of years before being brought back to the uk and registered with dvla on 1st June 1953 and allocated its current reg no NXP 81. From here it has 3 previous recorded keepers on the v5. It spent some time on display at the Metropolitan Police Traffic Museum in London.
We do not believe it was actually used in service and is more likely a replica, but it has all the equipment of the period, including winkworth bell, PA system, telephone and radio etc. everything is functioning. It even comes with the police officer of the days coat and hat.
The Wolseley comes with a huge history file including workshop manuals and handbooks, lots of old mots and bills for previous work
It is in very sound condition and drives very well with the benefit of electronic ignition and alternator conversion.. It certainly turns heads and would make a great advertising vehicle. We would welcome any inspection on this vehicle or we can provide more pictures on request
Delivery can be arranged anywhere in the uk after cleared funds and we can accept debit card payments or bank transfer
