John Ashley Ltd, the UK’s Renault GTA & A610 specialist are pleased to offer for sale this Alpine Europa Cup Race Car sold on behalf of our collector.
The car was originally delivered to Switzerland in March 1985 one of 54 manufactured 1984, the existing owner who bought the car in 2015 has been unable to trace the original drivers.
The original livery for the car was White, with red mirrors & roof decals, latter changed to the Blue & Yellow colour scheme of today.
The current owner has lavished a substantial amount of money to bring the car up to modern Race standards.
In Oct 2020 refresh included replacement clutch, uprated engine, refurbished high output Starter Motor, drive shafts & injector loom.
In March 2021 a new bespoke 45 L Alloy fuel tank was added, engine liner bases potted in resin.
In June 2021 the engine was rolling road tested, the engine run in, injectors & ECU upgraded.
In Sept 2021 & Oct 2021 Avo Damper kit was installed &full Geometry carried out, brake bias valve, new Sparco Grid Q Carbon Race seats with FIA Harnesses installed, full fire extinguisher system, brakes rebuilt with Dual engine electrical cutoff switches installed.
In July/ Aug 2023 the car had successful wiring mods done, the interior & exterior tidied & replacement Perspex rear window correctly fitted.
Brand new Europa Cup Wheels & Tyres at a cost of over £3000. 00.
