This rare Audi 2. 2 GT has undergone a recent restoration. Most of the mileage has been done by the first two owners. The previous owner restored the car replacing a significant number of parts (see photos and check out the Restonation channel on YouTube).
In the 10 months of my ownership I have continued the restoration which has involved sorting the injection system, a new clutch slave cylinder, replaced the rear light cluster, 4 new tyres and improving the interior to its original standard.
The car has been recently dyno tested at Ric Wood motorsport and is making full power - see the attached images.
The car has passed its MOT last month. Only advisory relates to some cosmetic rust by the front door hinge on the driver's side. Whilst in solid overall condition, there are minor cosmetic areas on the body and roof. The cracked rear tail light has now been replaced with an original Frankani unit.
Mechanically the car runs beautifully although it has occasional issues with hot starting (but it eventually starts after 2-3 turns). These issues are reflected in the price.
The interior is excellent. An aftermarket radio is fitted but I have the original Blaupunkt unit. All documents present and it has excellent Audi service history.
The car owes me far more than the advertised price but due to a change in personal circumstances I am offering the car for sale. To save us all the time and hassle, I am not open to offers. I have value priced the car relative to other cars available. Thanks for looking.
