Welcome to the sale of my pride and joy, my 2020 Bullitt Mustang.
One previous owner and comes with full Ford main dealer history.
I purchased the car from a Ford main dealer, Hartwells of Dunstable in Oct last year.
MOT until 27th March 2024.
It was last serviced in March of this year, but will need an oil change again soon. It would also benefit from a pair of new tyres on the rear, although they are perfectly legal.
There is a couple of stonechips on the front end, and two small ones on the lower part of the nearside door. I've tried to capture these as good as I can in the photos.
Inside, there's some minor wear on the drivers seat bolster and some minor scuffing on the sill cover - normal wear from getting in and out of the car regularly! It's been used as a daily driver for the last 3 months.
Car is on finance, which will be settled on handover. If you're a petrolhead, then the name 'Bullitt' will mean a lot to you. It did to me, and that's exactly why I purchased this car last year. For me, it was a bucket list item that I absolutely had to tick, and I'm very glad I did!
This Bullitt has just 13, 440 miles on the clock (which may go up as I still use it) and 2500 of those miles were covered recently when I took it on an epic road trip to the French Riviera, where it performed flawlessly. It simply chewed up the miles on the Autoroutes, tackled Alps and handled the busy streets of Cannes with ease. It truly is a very usable car and I will be very sorry to see it go, but circumstances force me to sadly move it on.
It's a 2020 car, serial L1253. This car is fitted with the desirable Magneride adaptive suspension and Recaro bucket seats and the iconic Highland Green paint is in very good condition.
In my ownership, it has always been stored in my dry garage, and judging by the condition of it when I bought it, probably the same for the previous owner too. I'm also somewhat of a clean freak when it comes to cars, so not only has it always been cleaned regularly, but the paint has only ever had good quality, pH neutral products used on it.
It drives superbly, and its all about that fabulous engine up front - the effortlessly torquey 5. 0 Coyote V8 sounds nothing short of evil, and the 6 speed manual gearbox is simply joyous to use.
There's not much on the market that can offer what the Bullitt has, let alone at this pricepoint - a naturally aspirated V8 with manual gearbox that also manages to be practical with all of the modern creature comforts? Think of it almost like a Toyota GT86, but with teeth.
Then there's the provenance of it, this isn't just any Ford Mustang. It's a Bullitt. So, when you get a clear bit of road, roll down the windows and bury the throttle in the carpet, you are Steve McQueen in 1960s San Francisco.
With a Steven Spielberg-penned Bullitt remake in the works and a Mustang - likely a Bullitt edition car to feature heavily, values on these are expected to go one way, so it represents a shrewed investment.
My initial plan was to keep the car for a few years, at least until after the movie was released, but my circumstances have unfortunately changed.
