What's a Series 2 ? Upgraded V8s w/ Weber EFI, the best engines of the lines, said by Specialists to do +330hp and being xtremely reliable, and so flat engine hood. + different rear view outside mirrors.

In S2, what's an MkII ? 1988 and 1989 models only. Better insulated soft hood with tinted and heated rear glass screen (you can recognize them too cause of their more bulbous soft hood, in both closed and open positions), gauge up to 300kph, turn signal side repeaters at the back of the front wheels and in lower position, modernized airconditioning with an additional sensor at the center of the upper part of the dashboard, different settings of the steering inherited fom the POWs (more negative camber...), improved electronical ignition, and above all, the famous POW front lip / spoiler that's common to all the 1988 & 89 V8s.

So as to add at that terrific POW look, I had it just fully serviced and added many original and real POW upgades from the Aston Workshop : complete chassis upgrades w/ striffest anti rollbar and Koni shocks..., ball joints kit, Ronal rims w/ Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, Nardi steering wheel, special center console...

Pls note that the originally fitted BBS wheels and leather steering wheel will come with the car. As will come all the chassis and steering parts that were upgraded. So as you can understand the perfect condition of the car before these changes, only made to make it look more like a POW, and with far better road handling and steering skills. Combined with lower asset and low profile modern tryres, the POWs seat 5, 5cm lower; clearly another car.

I also had the air conditioning system fully upgraded for new gas. + an hidden switch for a reinforced power.

Front and rear valances just re-sprayed so as to be at the very same standard than the rest of the car.

Why do I sell ? Just because I find it too soft for me even loaded like that. But I cannot stop admiring it.

Then, I can consider partial or not trades, including w/ money from my side, but only with original Euro specs and LHD cars of the exact same quality.

Don't be shy, but realistic and sympathetic.

Car is immediately available on the Fench Riviera, 20mn from the int'l airport and 15mn from the TGV rail station (2H50 from Paris).

Thx for your kind interest.

PS : pls do not make any confusion with US specs or catalyst cars. There's far more than just a set of US DOT bumpers, side markers, or 3rd brake light.
It's not enough to cancel the catalytic system. It won't modify your compression ratio and heads.
US specs (Japanese too, and some Swiss marketed cars) only do 220hp. California cars being 200 only.
And the US specs Vantage never had any Vantage engines, but standard US specs ones. The reason why they are officially named as "Cosmetic" Vantage or POW.
So when you are looking for a V8, beware of the exact origin.
Converting a US specs engine in real Euro specs is more than 100. 000£.
