Here we have a very tidy example of a 1947 Sunbeam Tourer, this car has just been released from a private car collection and is in very good condition, it has only had 3 previous keepers, and is only know to be around 8 of these left, it has just gone through brake overhaul earlier on in the year, and had the ash frame renewed by the previous owner the car is in truly great condition, the interior is perfect and wants for nothing, likewise with exterior and engine, starts and drives superbly and would be a thoroughly enjoyable summer and weekend car. The car has always been kept in dry storage and on trickle charge, and starts on the button when needed, very few things need doing to the car, it's ready to be used. They are fitted with the 1944cc four cylinder side-valve engine from the Hillman 14, that unit producing 52 bhp in its original form with improvements after the war increasing the power output to 56 bhp. The 2 Litre was fitted with Lockheed hydraulic brakes. they are great cars to drive and this won't disappoint! any question please ask . .
