Description
This 1967 Sunbeam Rapier Series V is one of just 3, 759 produced, making it the rarest of the series Rapier range. It was originally supplied by George Hartwell Ltd of Bournemouth and first registered on 1st March 1967.
The previous owner carried out a restoration to a high standard, and it has remained in excellent condition throughout my eight years of ownership. The car is equipped with a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive, a stainless steel exhaust system, electronic ignition, and a cylinder head conversion for unleaded fuel.
Finished in blue with a moonstone roof, the exterior presents very well. The chromework is in good condition, with the bumpers and headlamp bezels having been re-chromed in the past.
The interior is in excellent order, having been re-trimmed approximately six years ago in azure blue, complemented by dark blue carpets.
The car comes with service history covering the past eight years, along with some (though not all) MOT certificates dating back to 2005. It is currently MOT’d—although exempt—until 23/ 03/ 2027. Also included is a certified copy of the vehicle information sheet from the original factory records.
This Sunbeam is ready for its next owner to enjoy and appreciate.
