Condition
Built in January of 1985, this Midnight Blue with Grey Fabric car is ready to be enjoyed. Ordered from the factory in the smart shade of Midnight Blue, this original UK car would have been quite the sight on our roads in 1985.
Contained within the service history is a comprehensive file of recent works, including an engine rebuild and a new fabric roof.
Today the car presents very well, with the recent spend being evident in the way the car drives.
Interestingly for a 1985 car it wears the later alloy wheels that arrived in 1986 with the facelift, however photos within the history file show the car wearing the earlier 'light' alloy wheels (or Mexican Hats), synonymous with the earlier cars - Perhaps a new owner can make the decision to stay with the later alloy wheels or revert back to the factory specification of lightweight alloy wheels.
History
This is an opportunity to take advantage of the significant recent spend undertaken by the current owner. Included within the extensive history file is an SLSHOP bulkhead certificate, details of almost £30, 000 spent on restorative and improvement works and a not insignificant receipt for a full rebuild of the six cylinder engine.
