1997 Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo
Owned by myself since September 2022, a birthday present to my 62yo self, purchased from a dealer who put his name on the V5c
Three owners before him, but basically the 2nd owner, I believe a London doctor, owned this car for many years
Finished in Steel Grey with black cloth interior (which personally I prefer over leather for many reasons)
Standard and fairly rare OE sunroof with works perfectly and doesn't leak
Air-con. Regassed and debugged 28th June 2023. Nice'n'cold
Mileage is just about to nudge 67k, it may peak that with moderate use

In May 2022 the alloy wheels were refurbished and new, correctly rated Landsail tyres fitted which are still present.
Personally I would think about fitting Toro tyres at some point
Then the history moves to myself
On purchase I wanted to re-assure myself the car was fine, and I also noticed the temperature gauge wasn't working so I took the car to FCSS, arguably the best UK specialist for this model.
The health check was very encouraging!
November 2022 new thermostat and temp sensor fitted.
We also agreed some preventative maintenance
December 2022
Oil and filter change
Suspension refresh
Brake refresh
New coolant expansion cap
Wheel bearing where required
FCSS stainless aux belt pulley guard fitted (a weak spot on these)
New aux belt pulleys and tensioners
And then I noticed a slight drop in coolant levels, so I had the system pressure tested and had a new Direnza high performance alloy radiator fitted locally.
Recently the standard exhaust collapsed internally and I've had a new stainless steel Cybox cat back exhaust fitted, nice burble, not too lou
Update! 25th November visit to FC Performance, the go-to place for Fiat tuning for a basic Stage One remap which has greatly improved power and delivery. Now producing 262bhp. Totally reversible with stock chip (provided) if you want to go that way. But why would you.

The car has never failed on rust and on inspection recently, the chassis/ underbody was found to be excellent, structurally rust and weld free. I have just had the car 'wax oiled' underneath - well, lanoguard protection, simply as preventative maintenance
Although not a common car, there are quite a few if you look,
but very very few in this condition, with this history and with such low mileage
It isn't 100% perfect, if you view you will find some slight cosmetic imperfections but the car has been maintained impeccably. It performs without fault
