This lovely Mercedes Benz 500 CL was first registered 01/ 03/ 2004 and has covered a warranted 79, 350 miles from new.
The car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic Coachwork, complimented by its beautiful Anthracite soft leather interior, Dark Wood centre console and door trims, and 18” 5 spoke Fully Refurbished Alloy wheels fitted with minimum 7mm Pirelli P Zero tyres.

I’ve recently spent over £900 on the mechanical aspect of the car to have two full B services , replace a couple of ball joints, 4 suspension bushes and cure a slight oil leak from the two oil cooler pipes which I sourced in Germany, all previous MOT advisories removed, and is now in good fettle.
Since I became custodian of this car it has been the subject of a specialist paint job to resolve some minor lacquer peel on the doors and boot lid from previous attempts, and the car has been stripped of most of its trims, front and rear bumpers removed, prepared and repainted in base coat and clear at a cost of over £3, 000, wheels fully stripped and powder coated, the car has an exceptional quality finish and is now beyond comparison at this level in the market.
The car has a comprehensive service history, consisting of
4 x main dealer services @ 16. 6k, 20. 4K, 27. 4K, 34. 3k, and

I have been in awe of this stunningly beautiful Mercedes Benz Coupe from the first launch programme, and promised myself that one day I would own one of these beautiful cars.
I was alerted by a friend that a work colleague had bought a nice example, but sadly through Covid he lost his fight for life and he had been tasked with selling the car.
I went to view it, drove it and declared it my own having driven it for only 5 minutes.
I have a lovely 500 SL R129 so this was the perfect partner for it, during the time I’ve had it it’s been garaged and used sparingly, I’m lucky enough to live in the North East, where one of the most accomplished independent Mercedes service garage run by Neville Wright resides, he’s improved the car mechanically and has recently serviced it and MOT tested it before I winterised the car, in my current large garage shared with the SL, a VW California, all living happily together.
In June 2023 we found our forever house, a detached bungalow on a good size plot, with potential to build an even bigger garage, so over the last few months we’ve invested and completed the interior and exterior of the house, meanwhile I’ve been having estimates for my new garage complex, and frankly I’m staggered by just how much it will cost to build either a timber or brick 2/ 3 car garage, landscape a new driveway etc.
So, reluctantly based on these facts I’ve got a buyer for the Maserati, and the existing double garage can just about squeeze the SL and the camper Van in, so I am very reluctantly going to have to sell the 500 CL.
I’ve loved having it, I’ve enjoyed investing over £4000 into the car since I bought it, and some fellow enthusiast is going to buy a lovely example of these £100, 000 Plus cars, at a fraction of its original value.
I’m not in a hurry to sell, but it’s going into storage at the end of April so will listen to serious offers.
It is now back on to its original age related registration plate and I’m certain that the photos will give you a little insight into just how nice this example is.

Yes, there are cheaper cars out there, but you’ll end up spending ££££ to turn a less expensive car with issues, into something as beautiful as this cosseted and prized Mercedes 500 CL -
