Single owner last 16 years, used as a daily driver between 2007 and 2011 then dry stored as part of a private Citroën collection. Full mechanical and cosmetic overhaul just completed - every job the car either needed or was going to need in the foreseeable future has been done.

Rust free and in perfect running order. This car was shown at several car shows in the last 2 months and is now in dry storage. Still wears its original supplying dealer number plates (Concorde of Wokingham)

In preparation for sale on behalf of a private client, the car has received a complete mechanical and cosmetic overhaul with works recently carried out by respected Citroën specialist Bourne Citroën Centre to the value of £3, 500 (at our low hourly rate of £50) including required strip down to access and protect all areas of the car with ACF-50 rust inhibitor. The car has also undergone a shakedown test of 500+ miles since the overhaul to catch any issues remaining.

Nice period touches include the 1990s SonyEricsson mobile phone and an early traffic avoidance system that pre-dated satnav (TrafficMaster)

The car has zero corrosion, essentially only one small patch above the spare wheel where the rubberised underseal was starting to delaminate needed attention, which was addressed so the car is 100% rust free. There’s no sign of it ever having been in an accident and no lacquer peel.

The following works were carried out as part of the money no object mechanical overhaul, and the ACTIVA system works perfectly as it should so the car is absolutely pin-sharp to drive.

• A/ C condenser (radiator) replaced with new; A/ C system gas recharged and climate control fully functional
• ACTIVA roll sensor bars removed and refurbished; ACTIVA roll sensor mounting points replaced with new Citroën parts
• Anti-corrosion treatment with ACF-50
• Body underside: Heat shields and wheelarch liners plus spare wheel carrier removed, cleaned and painted where necessary
• Brake callipers removed, inspected and painted
• Brakes at rear: discs replaced, pads in good condition so reused; disc backplates refurbished
• Brakes at front: discs removed, inspected and cleaned, pads in good condition so reused. Brake hoses renewed
• Engine coolant radiator replaced with new
• Exhaust system replaced with new rearwards of the catalytic converter
• Full service:
o Engine oil and filter replaced
o New NGK spark plugs
o New air filter and cabin (pollen) filter
o New timing belt
o New water pump
o LHM hydraulic fluid replaced
o Engine coolant replaced
• Heater fan resistor pack replaced; the fan now works on all speeds, not just high
• Hydraulic system: new main accumulator sphere: hydraulic return junction above Hydractive valve replaced, with extended hoses to make any future work easier
• Infotainment: CD changer reinstated and working; Period Sony Ericsson phone in existing cradle. This phone and the TrafficMaster traffic avoidance system are the only things on the car that don’t work
• Interior: Carpets and seats removed to carry out full valet; Headlining retrimmed with correct material
• Suspension geometry set to factory specifications
• Suspension hydraulic spheres replaced all round; suspension geometry reset to factory specifications
• Wheels and tyres: Alloy wheels refurbished, as well as steel spare; 4 new Michelin Cross Climate 2 tyres

In addition, the following works were done shortly before the car was put into storage and are still good:

Hydractive valve replaced at Citroën Classics in Staines
Front discs and pads replaced
