A super little V6 sportscar to buzz around in with the sturdiness and prestige of a quality brand. There is a good history in its file with several main dealer invoices, stamped service record etc. The last owner, from whom we received it in part exchange was a perfectionist, and intended to keep it longer term, so instead of having the few expected age-related coachwork marks blown in, he took the bull by the horns and had the whole car repainted to a very good standard, which was way more than the car?s value justified. New tyres were fitted, the air conditioning has just been reconditioned, springs replaced and the rocker cover gaskets (which are known to weep) have been changed. There are bills for thousands! The interior is lovely, and the engine compartment too- both telltale signs that the car has always been respected. The owner required a four-seater car, hence his reluctant decision to part with the SLK after so much had gone into getting it right.
