1978 Beetle cabriolet Karman 1600.
Odometer at 73. 350 Km.
Has been retired from circulation for over 30 years and stored in Madrid which has a dry climate so there is no deep corrosion damage apart from superficial corrosion in limited areas. The paint (black) is new and so are the tires but the rest needs restoration which is clearly marked in the photos.
The original technical documentation has been lost but we have the original purchase (second hand).

Bought by present owner from CARDOEN a Belgian dealer in 1987

No radio.
The car is totally original beetle. No alterations or additions have been made apart from mechanical ones to the engine. It has not suffered any accident. I have tried to show all the the areas in need of work but I am ready to supply more fotos on demand if needed. It is a unique opportunity for a thorough restoration.
When I bought it I was young, which is no longer the case, and it was great to ride with the top down on winding roads. Then I had to leave and put the car in the garage where it rested for many years.
