Finished in Island Blue with Old English White roof this Cooper has had a professional bare metal re spray to the original colour scheme and the result finish is sensational.

The underneath is excellent having been protected with stone paint and is extremely solid. The chrome and stainless steel is in very good condition retaining the correct Cooper wheels and hud caps, correct moustache surround and bullet style mirrors, twin working fog/ spot lights are fitted.

The interior is a lovely place to be having had a new roof lining, the seats and door cards are the correct colour, Cumulus Grey and Gold seat patterns, original steering wheel, static seat belts and excellent carpets.

There is the original supplying dealer sticker Kennings Limited on the dash.

A British Motor Industry Heritage certificate states that the car was built on 15th June 1967, dispatched to Kennings Ltd of Hull on the 20th June 1967 and has matching chassis/ engine numbers.

There are four excellent (matching) radial tyres, an original tool bag, jack, wheel brace and hubcap removal tool.

As you can see from the photos the engine bay is detailed with twin SU carburettors and has just benefitted from a new clutch slave cylinder, temperature sender unit and new speedo cable.
The oil pressure and temperature both read correctly (see photo). Also just benefited from a oil and filter change and twin air filters.

The car drives very well, pulls well in all gears with a nice throaty exhaust note (see video). A lockable fuel cap is fitted is also fitted.

There is a clear HPI certificate for peace of mind and a file containing various invoices, MOT's and handbook.

Being a 'historic vehicle' it is exempt from road tax and MOT. The Cooper has just been viewed by a Mini Cooper restorer and he was extremely pleased with the car stating that items are correct with the year of the car.

The Cooper is in standard form with no silly modifications, look superb as when it left the factory in 1967 and would make a great addition to a collector or to be enjoyed on the open road.

With Mini Cooper prices on the increase this fabulous car could be purchased for £28, 991.
