Rare Dakar Yellow M3 Evolution Saloon in near concours condition. 24 years of history, 4 previous owners, 100% rust free, mechanically perfect. Fault-free MOT till December 2024.

For sale is my 1996 BMW M3 Evolution Saloon. If you're looking at this you'll be familiar with this models specification: 3. 2litre S50B32 engine, 321hp at 7400rpm, 258lb ft of torque at 3250rpm and a 6-speed Getrag manual gearbox.

I searched the land for a saloon in iconic Dakar Yellow (Dakargelb) for 8 years and only found 3 in the UK, the last one being this beauty that I bought in 2019. BMW only made 74 saloons in Dakar Yellow for all of Europe, 40 LHD and 34 RHD across 3. 0 and 3. 2 Evolution specification cars. This is one of only a handful of RHD versions left in the uk as a Freedom-of-Information Act request documents and corroborates.

My car was in excellent condition when I acquired it, but over 3 years, the team at Classic Heroes have finessed it to the point where I am not comfortable even taking it out of the garage. It's an exceptional example and nearing concours condition, and despite the mileage is mechanically perfect. Recent work at Classic Heroes has addressed everything and every area, most recently future-proofing against rust, but two other phases of work covered air-conditioning components and a complete replacement of the suspension with Bilstein dampers.

There's a history file extending back to 2000 when the second owner assumed responsibility for the car, and which includes in excess of 5cm of invoices, all filed in date order with corresponding MOT certificates and BMW service records. There's an invoice for the VANOS so that has been seen to. The original book pack is complete as provided with the car when purchased from Chandlers in 1996. 2x perfect BMW Chandlers keyfobs are included with the two key sets and remote fobs.

The car has had 4 previous owners, with myself and the previous enthusiast having lavished many tens of thousands to the point where I can't think of anything else you'd want to do. The paintwork is flawless, wheels immaculate and not a hint of corrosion anywhere on, under or in the shell.
