This exceptional camper van was made at the request of its first owner by the famous Parisian coachbuilder Currus, specialised in the transformation and fit-ting out of utility vehicles. As evidenced by its first registration document, it was registered on the 3rd March 1966 in Haute-Savoie. And as a type HY72, it had a more powerful 9hp petrol engine than the ones fitted on first versions.
With the level of care that made its reputation, Currus extended and then cus-tom-fitted this superb example, which was painted in "Paros White" colour (AC102). It has all the original equipment for camping in comfort: bathroom with WC, fitted kitchen with gas stove, fridge and sink. The rear compartment is modular and can turn into a table for 8 people or into a double bed. Independent heating was installed, as well as a water storage. Cupboards with hanging space and plenty of storage space complement its adventurer's set.
In possession of its first owner until 1999, it changed hands when it had approx-imately 50, 000 km from new. It was then acquired by an enthusiast in 2005 who decided to restore it, while preserving the rear part with all its original equip-ment. Included with a 1966 Solex 3800 attached to the rear, its current owner fell in love with this beautiful motorhome and has travelled more than 2, 000 km on board, without any problem. With a genuine mileage of 63, 500 km from new, its exceptional current condition, the quality of its manufacturing at the time and its numerous accessories, this is a unique opportunity which will enable you to take an original and comfortable holiday.
