Description
The Jeep CJ-5 is a direct descendant of the military vehicle that helped the Allies win the Second World War. The concept has been the same since the 40s – ‘do everything and get everywhere’.
Launched in 1954, this Jeep Willys variant was in production until 1983! A feat that highlighted its versatility and longevity, which is clearly evident in the more than 600, 000 units sold.
The CJ-5 was one of the first civilian 4x4s and has the credit of initiating many enthusiasts into the passion of off-roading.
The engine is the famous in-line four F-Head Hurricane 2. 2L, which has been completely rebuilt, as has the three-speed transmission and the braking and suspension systems. With only 75 Ps, but a lot of useable torque, easy to exploit with the robust transmission, the CJ-5 is downright fun, even at low speeds.
This Jeep CJ-5 was sold new in Portugal and assembled in the Movauto workshops in Setúbal. It maintains all of its classic charm and versatility and is ready for any outing or adventure!
