Pre-Production Suffix A Range Rover, 3rd Range Rover built, registration NXC234H. On page 129 in "Range Rover the First Fifty" and built between 22nd April 1970 and 28th May 1970. Serial number ending 29A. On the pre-production line was manufactured in Masai Red, but then painted in Lincoln Green to present to the Queen on a visit to Land Rover, and allegedly loaned to the Royal family for a short period. Requires full restoration, but been in dry storage since 1989. Does have a good roof lining which is unusual, rear bumper is a pre-production not found on production models, rear tailgate upper glass is plain as found on the earliest motors. Original aluminium bonnet in exceptional condition, also a rare item. Open to sensible offers.
