Here we have for sale this superb example of the early Ducati 900 SS SuperSport which recently came into stock by way of part exchange. This is the 2002 Ducati 900SS transition model, recognised in Ducati circles as the 900SS Sport because it has all of the suspension and wheel options of the Ducati 1000DS (such as Ohlins rear suspension, fully adjustable front suspension, the braced banana rear swing arm and Marchesini alloy wheels)
The bike is powered by the classic 900cc V Twin motor. One of circa 12 bikes bought into the UK (in 2002 only) with less than 7 now believed to be registered for UK roads. A two owner bike but with the last owner having it professionally set up and serviced and then putting less than 10 miles on the bike before storing it in a dehumidified garage as part of a wider collection. Has recently undergone full service (including belt replacement) tank service and suspension set up by arguably the UKs best independent Ducati Specialist Richard “Loui” Llewellin at Luigi Moto near Bristol In Richards opinion likely to be the best 900 SS Sport available in the country today”.
