I have owned the car for 5 years. It was originally exported to New Zealand in 1954 and imported to the UK and registered here in 2016. I have all the paperwork and some historical records.
There is NO rust and the bodywork and mechanics are excellent. The engine was rebuilt about the time the car was imported to the UK.
The paintwork is rather crazed on the roof and rear of the car due to exposure to the sun.
The only modifications are front seat belts and front and rear indicators, replacing trafficators and a recent towbar which has not been used.
I have had no work done on the car except reseating the new rear brake shoes after I bought the car.
The car drives exactly as expected and is used weekly on the supermarket run.
The interior is original and quite good but the front seats could do with attention.
Brilliant model, great car and a head turner.
With some cosmetic detailing like MK VII M front indicators, this car will shine
