Morris Minor S11 Saloon for spares or restoration: There is significant rust to the passenger sills, rear chassis, and rear floor panels, with lesser presentations elsewhere. One rear wing was corroded and has been removed. The engine, gearbox and drive are good - with many new parts elsewhere - disc brakes, wheel bearings, steering components, radiator and five new cross ply tyres, two new fibreglass bumper vallances and a boot repair panel. Paint is two pack, with some lift and orange peel. I have started work on cleaning back for both welding and paint, but the job is too big for me and I have decided to sell to make space for a new acquisition. Prior to a long period of storage, the car was a good usable saloon. The price sought is the lowest estimate of the value of the car as parts.
The car comes with a complete history of ownership, and has been maintained through most of its life. There is a paperwork file to support this history. The rust has taken hold recently and after a long period of inactivity. The speedometer is reading 17, 000 miles, but I think this is likely to be nearer 87, 000 miles. The maroon leather front seats and interior are stripped out and stored indoors in anticipation of welding. The car is complete except for the rear left hand wing.
