1975 Morris marina van full nut and bolt restoration done by myself and finished about 2 years ago. the van was restored using new old stock panels and parts if I couldn’t find new it was reconditioned. the van holds a sentimental value to me as it was purchased by my late boss/ best friend and he sadly passed away before any work was carried out and it then become a labour of love rather than a get it done and on the road kind off job. any rust was cut out and replaced all suspension parts was replaced with new old stock or reconditioned and powder coated the engine come from a mgbgt and was stripped and rebuilt ( it dose have a slight oil leak from back of sump ) and runs like a dream with plenty of poke gearbox is all good dose crunch in second sometimes but has never bothered me, rear differential is noisy but unsure if that’s how they are as the van echoes as it’s not boarded out in the back or no sound deadening ( just got no time to do it ). paintwork is a Mazda colour (think it’s soul red) and the roof is a bmw silver. there is Sighns of bubbling on the paintwork in places as it just sits in a garage which is my bad as I just don’t get the time to use it. this van is ready to go to its new home and have the love and time to spend on it and put your own stamp on it as it’s not paneled out on the inside you do as you want. thanks for taking time to look at this add I have been as honest as I can be on it .
The van was bought by my late boss and best friend back in 2019 to restore and use as a company vehicle but sadly he passed away 3 days after I collected it and he never even got to see it. work began on the van beginning of 2020 and was completely stripped to the bare bones while all the rust crud and crap was cut out and new metal fabricated and fitted new old stock parts and panels was found and purchased or reconditioned. favourite thing about this van is the colour and stance of it and it gets plenty of looks when driving it.
