This bike had been laying in an old warehouse for years and was in rough condition. I completely stripped and rebuilt it, having most of the parts chemical dipped and then premium powder coated. I replaced any parts I couldn't salvage with new Honda parts from David Silver. It is on standard bore with a new piston and rings etc. plus other new engine parts. DVLA have it listed it as a 1960 C90 (no such thing) but it's actually a 1964 C200 90cc 4 speed manual. It has an age related reg number. The work was done over a few years and I have lost count of how much I spent on it with the finish and chroming etc. I have just had two new Avon tyres fitted. The bike currently has a new aftermarket carb fitted as a trial as it seems to be more responsive than the original carb, which I still have. I have only done about 200 miles on it since being on the road but I am now looking for another project and would be prepared to do a deal with a large capacity BSA needing work. I bought this bike because I always wanted one when I was a teenager. I salvaged and restored every single part that I could and replaced many fixings with stainess steel. Anything that I couldn't reclaim I replaced with either new Honda parts or new old stck items from various locations. However my home circumstances have changed in the last few years resulting in my free time being restricted. I don't think I'd be selling it if I was in a position to ride it regularly. The DVLA records state last change of keeper being 2020 but I actually bought the bike in 2012. The 2020 date is from when I first applied to have it registerd as a Historic Vehicle. DVLA sent me a replacement V5.
