Very beautiful Volvo C70 2. 4T automatic with full history including all booklets, the counter report, service invoices and MOT forms. Perfectly maintained and vey well documented. Bought new by an American dentist who found the love of his life in the Netherlands. His pride and joy was 10 months old at the time and he (rightly) did not leave it behind. So the C70 has been in the Netherlands since 1999 and the counter has been adjusted to kilometres.
The exterior is all original and mostly in 1st paint. The colour is great: turquoise pearl and very rare. The original (and expensive) BBS rims also look very clean, which is actually incredible after 25 years. The electric beige roof works perfectly and is a nice contrast to the blue colour and beige interior.
The interior also looks very nice and is very atmospheric thanks to the leather upholstery and wood finish in the dashboard. The seats and rear seat have hardly any signs of use and the dashboard is scratch-free. Everything functions properly including the excellent working climate control.
In the USA they like luxury cars, so this C70 has all the options available at the time: beige leather upholstery, which they call Calcite/ Umbra sovereign hide there... both seats multiple electrically adjustable with memory, extensive trip computer, automatic with winter and sport mode, climate control L/ R separate, seat heating, ski hatch, adjustable wood+leather steering wheel, cruise control, Dynaudio prologic Hifi system with SC 900 radio, original BBS alloy wheels and headlight wipers. The tow bar was fitted in 2021 to carry a bike carrier.
The great 5 cylinder needs no introduction; since 1992 in the S70, the absolute heart and soul in many Volvo cars. Very reliable, strong and, thanks to the turbo, plenty of torque too. And you are treated to a nice sound. The automatic gearbox also has an excellent reputation and suits the comfortable character of the youngtimer very well.
The C70 has been well maintained, invoices from the last 20 years are present and also several MOT forms. At 166, 910 km, the timing belt was replaced and new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres were fitted just 2 years ago.
