Here’s my rare 1993 polo genesis. Lovely little car, I’ve owned it since mid last year brought it back to my workshop and gave it some much needed tlc. Car wasn’t running when i brought it, now she is after having new battery, filter air and fuel, plugs, new fluids (engine oil, gearbox oil, engine coolant) gets to temp and fan kicks in. Along the way i also started to replace the brakes and springs but only partly finished with the new parts in the boot ready to go on. Interior is immaculate which is great for this age of car. Will require a few bits to get it past mot:
New windscreen crack to centre
Boot latch needs adjustment/ replacing
Driver side latch needs replacing
Fresh fuel tank due to rust on down pipe
Dent to passenger side front wing
3 owners but not a great deal of history unfortunately I only know of the works I’ve completed.
Perfect project and I know it will not take much more to get it back on the road.
Bought as a project during an injury I sustained and have loved every minute of it, unfortunately now I have to give up my workshop space as my landlord no longer wants to keep the building so she has to go or will be sat outside for a while which I don’t want really. This has to be one of my favourite classics as I had one for my first car and absolutely loved it.
