Great example of a much underated car. Solid bodywoirk and good mechanically - This car goes well and would be an excellent buy. I would be open to sensible offers.
Car details-
Transmission- manual 4 speed with overdrive
Colour- Cotswold Blue with light tan interior
MOT- current MOT tested in January 2024 (expires Jan 2025) and passed with minor advisories for diff leak and suspension arm ball joint has slight play both front lower.
Mileage - odometer shows 10400 miles but I believe the car has gone 'round the clock' so should be 110400.
History
Car has been owned by me since March 2020. Unfortunately, due to garage space issues I am looking to sell the car. During my ownership I have driven around 9000 miles – this includes a trip to Cornwall in 2021, Wales in 2022 and two trips to France in 2023. The car drives well and has been much admired at various events. I have loads of history of the car and pictures of the bare metal respray in 2011/ 12. Bodywork still looks good and is pretty much all the orginal panels.
I bought the car from Rawles Motorsport. Rawles Motorsport are Austin Healey specialists. The car is a South African assembled car that featured in the Jaguar World Magazine September 2019. The car was a trade in for an Austin Healey. The car was imported to the UK in the 1990's from South Africa.
I enjoy using the car and believe classic cars need to be driven. It drives well and is very practical and is like a 4 door E-Type! More pictures etc. available on request.
