1956 Triumph Tiger T100
Excellent original condition. Not quite concours condition but not far from it, and would not look out of place at Shows.
Matching engine and frame numbers.
Fully restored to original condition in 1995 by Hughie Hancox Restorations, for the then giant sum of £5785! All receipts available.
Since then it has been lovingly owned and cared for, dry stored and never seen rain.
Everything is to original specification with the famous all alloy 500cc engine.
Negatives. Front mudguard has a paint chip on the leading edge. Oil level transfer on oil tank is slightly polished through. Original smiths clock has slightly yellowed numbers, but in my opinion adds to the patina and charm.
Engine starts easily and everything works as it should. Seat is perfect. Paint colour is lovely and in excellent condition. Wheel painting and lining is outstanding.
I bought this bike when I retired as a part of a small collection of my favorite machines. It is beautiful to look at and ride, with performance that can more than keep pace with modern traffic.
The records that came with the bike indicate that it has had 5 owners including myself.
I am now reducing my collection before I move house.
