I am assisting with the sale of my good friends 1961 BSA 650 Golden Flash as health conditions no longer permit it’s use.
He has owned the bike since 2006 and has used it on VMCC runs and visiting trips to his brothers in the Lake district in the summer months. Other than routine servicing he has done nothing to it in that time and it has always been very reliable.
The bike comes complete with a set of Craven panniers and luggage rack. It also has Akront alloy rims and stainless spokes along with stainless rear spindle. There is also a file of old mot’s and receipts from previous owners.
Whilst the cream seat might not be to everyone’s taste it is original and period. However replacement black seat covers are available on ebay for £55 and it would be an easy swop. Indicators have also been fitted by someone for safety reasons but likewise easily removed if preferred.
The bike starts and runs and rides very well and is in very good condition for the year.
It will be sold from the owners V5c address and paid in full to him on collection. As I say I am merely assisting with the sale through to completion.
Priced realistically but I will relay all sensible near offers and they will be carefully considered.
