Outstanding, unmolested and cherished example of an appreciating classic Jaguar with comprehensive service history records and very low mileage.
This vehicle has been enthusiast-owned its entire life. I am the 4th owner, with the first spanning 10 years between ‘98 - ‘08, the second spanning ‘08 - ‘22. The vehicle was dry and temperature-controlled stored for 10 years before the third owner purchased it and recommissioned it at great expense. All work is documented. Importantly, this included the vital “tensioner” upgrade, which, again, is evidenced.
The car has never been welded and has never needed it. I encourage any potential buyer to have a good look underneath (mat can be provided!) - it is pristine. No typical sill or arch corrosion as is so common with the X300/ X308. Pictures also attached of work conducted on the rear subframe, which included bare-metal stripping and then rust-preventative works completed. The subframe itself is (and was) solid, but the previous owner wanted to make sure it would never become an issue in future, and addressed this whilst undertaking a comprehensive “refresh” of the under sealing to preserve the condition.
Bad bits: the previous owner prioritised making the vehicle mechanically and structurally perfect at great expense before selling, leaving only a few minor cosmetic imperfections. This car is ready to be driven and enjoyed. However, a purist or perfectionist may want to address the discolouration of mirror glass and (typical!) sagging headlining to give the vehicle a truly “time-warp” condition to compliment the otherwise perfect interior condition.
The private registration will be removed before sale and replaced with the original “R139AAR”, including number plate mount on front. The vehicle has currently been in dry and temperature-controlled storage over the winter as it is only used on dry, sunny days. I have been waiting for such a day to add an MOT and will be doing this when I get the opportunity. As you can see from history, it will fly through once again with no advisories.
