There has been 1 owner before me, I am the second owner on the V5. This van has a genuine 22000 genuine miles from new, all backed up history with all the old MOT's from new until 1999 until it was taken off the road. I purchased it after it had been restored in 2021. Prior to that it was in long term storage. It has 2 original keys with it. It will come with a 12 month MOT as it’s due in April.

Prior to my ownership and during restoration of the van, all rot was cut out and new panels fitted where available, any panels no longer available were hand made. The body work has been fully repainted, including the engine bay.
The van looks stunning in factory 2 tone with the factory pin stripe. The 13 inch standard steel wheels have been fully powder coated and the original Laser trims also painted, complete with brand new tyres including the spare wheel. The under side of the body has been wax oiled for longevity.

Mechanically it's needs nothing, The van was stripped for painting - any items that were staying such of leaf springs, rear beam, drums, backing plates, roll bar etc have been power coated black. All new items from the rest such as, all new brake pipes, new flexi hoses, new callipers, new disks and pads, new rear brakes, new handbrake cable all new bearings, new bushes, new track control arms plus anything else it needed. It has recently had a new battery. It starts on the button without fail.

The engine is a 1. 6 petrol CVH from factory (same as XR2 of this era) as stated on the logbook, its quiet and runs to temperature without overheating. The cambelt and water pump were changed in 2021 along with new tappets, new head gasket and bolts and a full service. It’s probably done 200 miles since then.

The interior was all original including radio. Whilst I still have the original steering wheel, seats and binnacle, I have recently upgraded the interior with fully refurbished XR3i seats, a 4 spoke RS steering wheel in immaculate condition and fully functional XR3i dash clocks/ binnacle. On the outside I have fitted genuine NOS Ford XR3i spotlights on the correct Ford brackets. I have left the original wheels and trims on the car but I do have a set of four 14 inch XR3i steel wheels with the correct genuine XR3i wheel trims and new tyres for it if preferred. The spec of the van is a rare Laser. So it has 2 tone paint and internally adjustable mirrors and full face wheel trims. I have a brochure from Ford that accompanies the van.

It has the original jack and brace behind the drivers seat, the rear bed and wheel arches are ply lined.

It's a really original and rare low mileage/ low owner van which always gets a wave and turns head. Whenever I use it it’s a conversation starter.
