I have a 1972 Honda CB125s im looking to sell. It has had an engine change to an 80s CG125 and remains a 125cc. New tires, headlight, battery and seat as part of a restoration. Recently, the valve clearences have been adjusted and the carburettor jets have been adjusted correctly alongside a new regulator for the battery. The bike has a beautiful silver patina with added rust for a rat/ brat bike look. Im in Leicestershire, only 25k miles on the clock and V5C is available, but no paperwork of service history however no records of a write off or a serious crash. Is a running and driving bike, nothing at all wrong with gears, clutch or brakes.
From the start of the restoration these components have been replaced:
-Battery
-Carburettor
-Tires
-Rear brake light and casing
-Front headlamp
-Wiring has been redone
-Rear suspension
-Wheels and forks have been alligned
-Spark plug
-New oil
-Mirror
-Upgraded seat
-Comes with free front mudguard.
This was in storage for a few years and has been restored over the last few months. There is still a couple issues however i am currently working to mend these:
-Left front indicator intermittent.
-Battery charge doesnt hold for aslong as it should.
-speedometer has recently broken, cable is loose.
Please feel free to ask me any questions, £1250 ONO.
Sold as seen.
This is a perfect bike for someone looking to get into mechanics or a avid collector and mechanic looking for some cheap fun, 125cc perfect beginner bike too which isnt one of them plastic sport bikes.
This was bought for a restoration and for practice on the roads. Selling due to an upgrade and to allow more motorcyclists to have some fun with an amazing bike.
