A few years back I bought my C1 Corvette from a Corvette Enthousiast who was over 80 years old having over a dozen of Corvettes of different year models.
He used to have a classic car repair shop which he closed down, and sold his collection. I rarely drove the car but it is still very healthy. It was resprayed in the 90s in the US, I was told, and is a typical "US standard" driver cars paint, not showcar quality. It is equipped with a later 5. 7l engine, the old 5. 4l engine might still be available, but is not included in the sales price.
Classic looks, not show car quality, but a nice "driver" quality.
