I bought the bike from a friend 18 months ago and have used it regularly over that time.
Please note speedo reading in photos and ignore listing.
The bike was manufactured in 1964 and released by the army in 1975 -hence the N registration. It is a Mk2B model with distributor and single coil ignition.
Chronometric speedo ( the correct one for the bike)fully reconditioned
Fitted with a NOS Solex carb as original.
Recent new clutch
NOS exhaust pipe
List of work carried out by previous owner
Decent set of Avon tyres
6V electrics- ammeter shows a healthy charge
Paintwork serviceable but not perfect, some rust on front rim ( see photos for details)
This is a very relaxing bike to ride around the lanes but don't expect a high performance twin!
See the feature on TRWs in April's Classic Bike
Starts easily and runs nicely with no smoke , usual Triumph crunch into first gear ( which I've learned to get around by going into second then back into first) goes through all the gears nicely
Having to sell as I need the room and have a similar bike
There is a thick folder with lots of history of previous work carried out, the original army instruction manual and parts list
