We are proud to present something a bit different from our usual stock in the form of this 2022 fully electric BMW i4 E-drive40 in black sapphire metallic.
This car was ordered by one of our directors in May 2022 and delivered to group 1 BMW in Hailsham December 2022. It has been in our care from that point until now and has covered 10, 200 miles in the past 15 months.
The options specified on this model were as follows:-
- Rear privacy glass from factory, complimented by a light aftermarket tint on the front windows.
- Comfort entry pack which features a heated steering wheel, passive entry and one touch locking.
- Harmon Kardon stereo upgrade
- Wireless charging station in center console
- Genuine rubber mats fitted from new. Original mats come with vehicle
- Dealer plates have been removed but can be re-fitted if desired
This modern breed of electric car is an absolute joy to drive and the silent ride really adds to the stress free comfort of driving such a well executed BMW. The build quality is flawless and it still feels like a new car when you get inside today.
As you can see from the photos the vehicle is in as perfect condition and has been very well looked after. The paintwork was machine polished and ceramic coated from new and the alloy wheels are completely unmarked.
Being such a new car there have been zero issues under our ownership and there are still multiple years of manufacturers warranty remaining which will transfer to the next owner.
The charge level has always been kept between 20-80% which is important to get the maximum life from the battery pack, ensuring years of trouble free use.
The stated maximum real world range is 364 miles and in normal use we have found this to be fairly accurate, give or take 20 miles depending on conditions and driving style. It is also worth noting that this 'entry level' sport model actually has the highest range when compared with the M-sport and M50 variants, due in part to its 18 inch wheels and lower rolling resistance.
