My Mazda MX-5 ICON mk2. 5 is for sale.
I bought it a few years ago when the catalytic converter was stolen off it from the previous owner. I sourced a brand new cat and had it installed and then went about making sure that the car is the best example it could be. I took it to 'The MX5 Restorer' for a full service and a check up and then to the Yorkshire Car Restorations for all of the body imperfections to be sorted out and a few things to be upgraded. When there, any and all corrosion was removed and repaired, drain runs checked, the car was fully undersealed and cavity waxed. The Steve at YCR also serviced the car and installed the following upgrades:
Roll bar
S-VT sport full underfloor bracing
S-VT sport strut brace
Sportex performance exhaust
Japspeed aluminium radiator
Torsen type 2 LSD diff
TEIN springs (will also provide standard springs)
Whiteline adjustable front and rear anti-roll bars (will also provide standard arbs)
Relocated front numberplate (will also provide the original)
Low miles and rare colour, these do not come up for sale very often! This is one of the very last MK2. 5 models made before being replaced with the Mk3 model and has covered only 56625 miles from new!
Mazda really made these last few cars special by making the ICON special editions, this one finished in the rare Chilli Orange pearl, colour code 33J which again looks fantastic in the sun. Mazda did away with the hard line of stone chip paint at lower level in favour of blending it, thus losing the hard line, which looks much better in my opinion.

This is a great opportunity to purchase what is an extremely well looked after, rare coloured MK2. 5. It looks completely standard apart from the vinyl roundels which can be easily taken off if they are not to your taste. It also drives like it just came from the factory as it hans’t been ruined by cheap aftermarket modifications. It’s got service history, documents folder and both keys.
