Time to sell my CB400T Dream commuter, as It's been garaged around 24 years and is in need of some TLC. I fitted a new battery last year and the bike fired but didn't tick-over evenly! The recorded mileage is 53881 but at some point in the bikes life a replacement 400N engine was fitted, so the bike is NOT original. I bought the bike in 1995 and used it all year round as my commuter for around 5 years and it never missed a beat, so this really is a reluctant sale.
The bike would make an ideal Caf'e racer project but unfortunately I just do not have the time or the know-how
As you can see from the images the bike comes with loads of spare acquired over the years, Engines, Wheels, clocks, carbs, etc, there's also a spare petrol tank stripped and blasted ready for spraying as I was thinking of having it sprayed in the original blue as per the side panels in the image.

I bought this bike solely as a commuter but became attached, and at the weekends whenever possible and weather permitting would go off to the east coast or up around Derbyshire, knowing full well that it would never let me down. The bike was a pleasure to ride, well balanced, handled really well and looked the part.
The CB400T Dream is now a rare and sort after Honda and this could be a great acquisition for a collector or enthusiast with vision.
